Research Study

New Research Study on Child Nutrition Launched by AfriCHAN

AfriCHAN has officially launched an in-depth research study titled “Determinants of Stunting in Rural Eastern Uganda.” This study aims to uncover the root causes of chronic malnutrition among children under five, with an emphasis on household practices, food systems, maternal health, and community-based determinants. The findings are expected to guide local and national policymakers in strengthening nutrition strategies to reduce stunting and improve early childhood development.

Conclusion:

Through this research, AfriCHAN is strengthening Uganda’s ability to fight malnutrition using data-driven solutions. The study will shape future interventions and contribute to long-term community well-being.
